ABOUT FINESSE
Finesse was established in 2012 by Peter Dalman with the aim of becoming one of the most respected and trusted brands in the painting trade.
Peter is passionate not just about delivering an exceptional service to our clients, but in lifting the standards right across the painting and plastering industry. In 2019 he was voted on to the Master Painters executive board for the Canterbury / Marlborough Region, and in February 2020 he was elected board Chairman. In 2023 Peter was voted on to the National Board.
In 2016 we were invited by Resene to join their Eco. Decorator group of contractors in recognition of our commitment to quality and sustainable work practices. Every year we are audited by Resene for our quality and professional standards, and in 2023 we are proud to say our company received the top equal result of all the audited contractors in New Zealand.
With a focus on treating our clients with respect, integrity, and clear communication, Finesse has become the painting and plastering company of choice for many homeowners, builders, investors, property managers, project managers, and quantity surveyors. We are transparent and competitive in our pricing, breaking all tenders and quotes down and basing them on the current market rates required to complete the job to a high standard.

We only use the top quality, Resene, Dulux and Wattyl paints which both look better and last longer than the cheaper alternatives.
