Retail Refurbishment | Cashel Street, Christchurch
Michael Hill
Finesse painted and wallpapered the Michael Hill store refurbishment on Cashel Street, covering everything from ceilings to wallpapering.
The Brief
Michael Hill's Cashel Street store in Christchurch was refurbished with a specification that covered both painting and wall papering. Health and safety was managed throughout the project using Site App Pro.
The scope included ceilings, walls, back of house, skirtings, wall panels, exposed structural steel and 54 square metres of wallpaper.
The Work
Walls, ceilings and back of house were finished in Porter’s Paints Half Watermark in low sheen. Skirtings were finished in Porter’s Paints Watermark in semi gloss. The wall panels were painted in 2-pack paint from Shipfitter, specified to match the wall colour at 60% gloss, and the exposed structural steel received a 2-pack epoxy finish. 54 square metres of Fine Linen vinyl wall covering was hung on a custom colour, supplied by Hillmorr.
The Result
Not every refurbishment brings this many specialist products together. Working on Michael Hill’s Cashel Street store was a good chance to show how Finesse manages that, and the work reflects what we bring to every project.
