Remarkables Base Ski Field (Extension & Maintenance Building)
Remarkables Ski Field, located in the Queenstown area, required an extension to the main base building. In addition to this, a new build maintenance building to house the ski maintenance equipment was construction along with staff resource areas.
Working in all types of locations
The Finesse team worked to a very tight timeframe to ensure these two projects were completed and ready for the new ski season. Working under the main contractor, various trades had to work collaboratively to ensure that timeframes were kept.
With the location up the top of Remarkables Ski Field, the view was certainly something to admire, however the trek up and down the hill each day was quite the climb. We encountered some stunning, but cold days, then pre-season snow to battle.
Completed on time, this project is certainly something the team don't get to work on often.
