Roki Collection.
Roki Collection is a world class boutique luxury hotel on the shores of lake Wakatipu, Queenstown. Home to Essence, the only New Zealand restaurant to hold two Michelin stars. Finesse contributed to the painting works across the interior alongside Cook Brothers Constructions.
The brief.
Roki Collection is a 25-suite boutique luxury hotel on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, Queenstown. Designed by Sumich Chaplin Architects with interiors by Verginia Fisher, the 3,800 square metre development demanded a standard of finish that matched its positioning. Finesse contributed to the painting of the property alongside Cook Brothers Construction. Roki collection is also a home to Essence, the only New Zealand restaurant to hold two Michelin stars.
The work.
The interior scope covered penthouse areas and bedroom suites. The palette used was specified to work with the environment rather than complete with it.
On a project designed and built to this standard, the margin for error is effectively zero. Product selection, application consistency, and an understanding for how each colour reads in different light conditions across the day all matters.
The finish.
Not every project sits at a world class standard of hospitality. Working on Roki Collection alongside Cook Brothers Construction was a huge opportunity, and the work reflects what finesse brings to every project it is part of.
